Wooden Benches

PAROTAS’ wooden bench collections emphasize the intricate parota grain and natural lustre, which is beautifully highlighted with our mix of natural oils. The neutral colouring makes parota wood benches easy to match with a wide range of contemporary designs and colours.

The large size of the parota tree also makes it easy to custom-source long wooden benches with live edge wood up to several meters long. Contact PAROTAS to enquire about custom designs or our wooden bench collections.

Modern wooden benches

PAROTAS conceptualizes modern bench collections by relying on minimalistic design and sleek lines. PAROTAS incorporates contemporary elements into their modern bench designs such as iron, chrome, wood, bronze or golden features, as well as unique techniques such as luminescence and carbonized wood. Opening design concepts to combine parota with contemporary materials enables designers to visualise new interpretations of modern wooden bench design.

PAROTAS uses a unique blend of oils to treat the wood, which is typically less-damaging and easy to maintain for both indoor and outdoor wooden benches. Parota’s golden-brown heartwood makes it a versatile resource for matching with a modern range of dining and kitchen tables or wooden bar tables.

Wooden storage bench

The distinct parota grain provides a unique way to get attention for wooden storage benches or entryway benches. Designers who require functionality can conceptualise a sleek range of wooden storage bench solutions that don’t detract from parota’s organic features.

Solid wood benches

Contractors and home designers can custom-order natural cuts of parota wood to create solid wood benches up to several meters long. Cuts with the natural edge or live edge wood allow designers more room to work parota’s creamy sapwood into their modern bench design, which is spectacularly demarcated from the amber-coloured heartwood.

Wooden Bench

Wooden benches, sustainably sourced

All of PAROTAS’ wooden benches are sourced with certified wood from Mexican providers operating under governmental protection schemes. The parota tree, also known as guanacaste, grows relatively fast and abundantly in humid and tropical zones in Mexico and Central America. This exotic hardwood is commonly used for reforestation projects and not listed as a threatened species, making it a sustainable resource for producing large-size wooden benches.
